Horse Racing Ireland has announced that there will be a replacement National Hunt meeting at Cork on Tuesday, 15 December replacing the 16 November meeting at the venue that was cancelled.

It has been reported that Mick Kinane is set to announce his retirement from horse racing. The 50-year-old, who rode Sea the Stars to victory in the Prix de l\’Arc de Triomphe in Paris eight weeks ago, is now expected to follow the colt into retirement.
